A couple takes on a homeless teenager. The trio forms a family-like community that seems to work extremely informally and without many regulations. But then the harmonic situation escalates as the boy falls in love with his "adoptive mother".

Rosy is a 25-year-old bank teller who ‘aged out’ of the foster care system at 18 and has since managed to build a solid yet unspectacular life for herself. Desperate to fill that parental void, she seeks out an online service that connects older adults looking for adult surrogate children. In turn, this takes Rosy on a surreal journey to find that familial love she has long been searching for.

A couple loses their only child in an accident and subsequently unknowingly adopts an innocent looking little girl with paranormal powers that she uses to fulfill her twisted desires.

UP FOR ADOPTION is a mockumentary-style comedy that follows four very unique volunteers as they find forever homes for the dogs and cats under their temporary care at a weekend adoption center. Though Tanya, her two daughters, and her best friend Michelle are all bound by a common love for adoptable pets in search of homes, they slowly come to realize that the animals aren't the only ones in need of real family.

Our young friend Jimmie forms a sudden attachment for a little waif in the streets whom he finds playing an accordion for alms. The little urchin late that night rises from his pallet and goes to serenade his new friend. Jimmie makes a rope of the bed-clothes up which clambers the ragged Archie. Disregarding the formalities of undressing Jimmie puts Archie in his own immaculate bed, dirty shoes and all, while he himself sleeps upon the mat like a faithful Towser. In the morning Jimmie hides Archie in a closet until he should have returned from school. In the evening when he arrives, the key to the closet is missing. There is an interchange of notes and Archie directs Jimmie to go to his nefarious companions who have the somewhat sinister occupation of second story men and tell them of Archie's imprisonment.

Desperate for a child, a couple welcome a surrogate mother into their lives, only to discover she's a con artist who's out to steal their money.
